I find that there are several good verses in this chapter. I know that when I was working two part time jobs. It seemed like my life consisted of eat, sleep, and work. It seemed hard to find time to read the bible, and to pray. Although on my drive to work in the morning I did ask the Lord to give me the strength that I needed for that day. --- When I read this verse about salvation, I thought about. What an in creditable, wonderful, thing that God did for me. And when at times, I get sidetracked and do something that is sinful. I get so disgusted with myself. And I have to say "Lord it is me again, I stepped out of Your will, I disobeyed Your word. Lord I humbly ask for your mercy and grace. You say that if we confess our sins, that You will forgive us and cleanse us form ALL unrighteousness. "O Papa God, that is what I want, I want to be cleansed from all unrighteousness.

The sacrifice made by Jesus on the cross offered everyone a free choice to accept His Redemptive plan of Salvation for our lives enabling us to obtain Eternal Life. Refusing this plan spells Eternal Damnation and one from which no one can escape. Since there is no way of escaping it is best if we embrace the plan and seal our New Life with Christ.
Lord help me to embrace your Redemptive Plan making my calling and election sure with you in your Heavenly Kingdom. Thank you for dying for me. In Jesus Mighty Name I Pray. Amen!

This great salvation is so great and offers so much--it is real. Jesus announced it and the people who heard it and came to Jesus by way if total faith in Him experienced it and followed Him.
