Hebrews 13:2
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
Patty B. from Dallas, GA said:
We are to show love and compassion to every one, this does not mean we have to accept their behavior but we are called to love as Jesus loves. He does not always love our behaviors but he always loves us. We may be showing compassion to angels or we may just be the only Bible someone ever sees.

Jesus showed us how to serve and care for others. He has given us a gift to share with others. No matter the circumstances of your life you will always have something to give to others

We should show hospitality to others/strangers like we are entertaining the angels. I remember a time I was waiting on my husband who was late as usual picking me up. A gentleman walked in the foyer and asked me why I was upset. I explaine the situation and he calmly said, "do not be upset, there may have been circumstances that made him late" I wanted to disagree with him but there was something about him that caught my attention and made me wonder if this was one of God's angels sent to keep me calm. He came back by 5 or 10 minutes later and just smiled. My husband came right after that but I was much calmer and the ride home was not as stressful at it could have been. The angels are 'Holy' heavenly creatures who perfectly do God's will. They are priviledged to reside in his presence. When we are in their presence and interacting with them, we are interacting with a direct emissary of his. We can get caught up in our own issues and ignore or forget to be kind to others. I wasn't rude to the man, even though I was upset with my husband. After he left though, I really wanted to further the conversation and ask him if he was angel because he gave me such calmness and peace.

Peter G. from Timonium, MD said:
I just like the idea that angels are among us. God sends us "ministering spirits" in the flesh, or at least who can take on the flesh of humanity for a time, to help us even when we aren't aware of the source of that help. Another reminder that God wonderfully and creatively cares for us and wants us to be ever mindful to live a life of gratitude because the encouragement we receive may just be from the hand of an angel.

Always be hospitable ,kind ,and loving toward everyone because sometimes God will test the state of your heart by sending an angel to see how you treat strangers. Angels do visit in human form my sister for example was having her first child and was having complications that could have killed her and her daughter. A kind nurse came in and held her hand and told her everything would be fine and then the nurse stood against the wall and smiled kindly at her for awhile and left. After her daughter was born she asked another nurse to send the nurse in that was so kind so she could thank her and she told her there was no nurse there that night except her. This scripture is true you never know when you have entertained angels.
