God said to Jacob and He says to us, "I AM GOD ALMIGHTY"! Just think about how much more than Jacob that we actually know God Almighty because we have His Word and all His revelation to us. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob had to truly walk by faith and wait and trust. In some respects even though we have His word it is difficult for many of us (including me) to walk by faith and trust Him to lead and guide and bless us. I am not sure why that is? It is hard to be dependent. We think we can look after ourselves and only go to Him when it is beyond our capability. We must become like little children again in God's family.
