We all tend at some point or another to shift the blame on something other than the root cause of our disobedience. Our rushing into reacting to a given situation will put us in deeper predicament than we were before. Until we learn to listen more closely to the voice of God before we take our actions further, we will face the consequences dearly, sometimes with no turning back. The choice is ours to wait on the Lord because we know that His plans are always the best!
