Inside the ark of the covenant there were three things, the Ten Commandments, Aaron's rod that budded, and manna. God's people broke the Law, challenged Aaron's leadership, and complained about the manna. But, the good news is that God is a merciful God. The Mercy Seat covered all of the reminders of the people's sins. For us today, the blood of Jesus Christ washes us white as snow! Thank You, Jesus for your love for us!

Where I will meet you ... God promises to meet with us when we prepare ourselves to meet with me. Notice how careful everything must be. God is Holy and when we enter His presence we too must confess our sins and be cleansed by His blood so that we too are holy.

How sweet it is to know that the Lord loves you so much to provide special instructions. He tells you that he wants to commune with you and if you can just walk into the natural you will be able to hear His voice. It is time that He has set aside for just you and HIM. Throughout this chapter instructions are provided to set the envrionment to meet and fellowship with Jesus. This lets me know that I need to be mindful of the atmosphere before approaching my God. God is not just anybody so dont treat Him or approach Him like He is.CREATE THE ENVIRONMENT AND SET THE ATMOSHERE. This was an eyeopener for me.

Imagine the Lord's thoughtfulness that went into the detailed instructions - "where I will meet with you"! The intimacy and desire of the Lord shows clearly here. He has provided Himself the atonement covering the requirements of the law and awaits my meeting Him! Thank You, dear Lord God, that Your love for me moves You to do everything necessary for us to be together - today, tomorrow, and for all eternity! I love You. Keep me here, near You.
