God hardened his heart for all of them that he performed. God has a master plan for our life, when we surrender our plan to God, when we learn to trust God, this master plan starts working. He has a plan for us, guiding us every day.

The church is always one generation from extinction. God commanded the Jews to tell their children and grandchildren about the miracles the Lord did in their sight. God in His grace has worked the miracle of salvation in our hearts and we are to share our faith with our children and grandchildren. Lord help me to live out my faith before my family. Help me not to be a hypocrite and when I sin against them help me not only seek your forgivness but theirs. Make me more like Jesus each and every day.

I sense, from these miracles the Lord was doing, may well have been to build the faith in God, of Moses and the Israelites, as they would face such struggles as they exited Egypt and moved toward their promised land. They all saw what God did to convince the Egyptians to let them go and should have a greater trust in God to provide and care for them. This whole story shows me that God knows what's going to take place before it does and has a plan, even in our weakness and often resistance.
