Mary T. from Houston, TX said:
Peter and John were threaten by Sanhedrin, not to preach about Jesus, but Peter and John did not withdraw instead they held a prayer meeting with believers in Jesus Christ. In the prayer they asked for boldness and courage to speak. They asked Him to stretch out His hand for healing and to perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.
After they prayed the place where they were meeting was shaken. and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Prayer is important for missions and should be done before speaking the word of God to others so that it may be received and so that his word can be preserved and the speaker can be refueled in the Holy Spirit to speak God's word.

Henry M. from Atlantic City, NJ said:
When was the last time you prayed so fervently that the ground actually shook? When you speak of God do you do it boldly? Or do we speak with some hesitation as though we have doubt over how the person to whom we speak will respond to us? We must remove all doubt from our minds. Stop caring what others will say or think. We must speak in God's name boldly. And it starts with our prayer life. Next time you pray, pray with purpose. Pray with such passion that the ground shakes!
