every Christian has been chosen to know God's will and to be about His business. -- Act 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Just like God chose Saul, now Paul, He has also chosen us, His children, to know His will. We hear God's word and can talk with Him. It is our responsibility to teach others of God's love, His promises and His never ending grace for us.

It encourages me to know that He still wants us to know His will and to hear His words though I must confess sometimes I wish I had someone to just come up and tell me His will and what I should be doing...I know the Holy Spirit is even better but I don't devote myself to learning to listen and to understand Him.

Chosen: I love Paul because he always expresses this, that it wasn't HIS idea to follow Christ, in fact, he was utterly opposed to the idea. Ananias confirmed that it was God who chose him, and had a mighty purpose in store for him. If you have been chosen by God, if you believe in his name, YOU have a mighty purpose in store for you. Don't forget that.
