Only with prayer and trusting our Lord Jesus can we, as believers, be strong against the Evil One who is doing his best to draw us away from God to walk in his ways. This is the battle we constantly need to face so keep your head in all situations trusting our Lord to keep you strong in Him.

as followers of Christ we must not be swayed to hear only what is good and great, at times the message won't be easy to hear, nor the work of the Lord easy to carry out, most especially in the end times. but hold fast to your faith..

It is stricking to me that the work of evangelism is a given...separate from the duties of your ministry (i guess). I pray that i will 'keep my head' and share my faith in whatever ways possible.

It comes after verses that tell that the world will try to pull us away from our faith and will tempt us to join cults. This verse is telling us to endure the hardship and to share our faith as evangelists in the world. Evangelism is one of the most important things that any Christian can do.

This is one of the scriptures God used to reveal my calling into the ministry as an evangelist back in 1996. I've had some really hard times over the years since walking into my calling and haven't handled them all very well. This scripture reminds me and encourages me to keep my head, endure hardship, continue to do what God has called me to do just as God was with me during every trial and tribulation he will continue to be with me through it all. Praise God He is faithful even when we're not.
