2 Thessalonians 1:9
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might

It will be a sad day and a very sad eternity for those who do not receive Christ and His priceless gift of eternal life, declared for those who do believe and follow Him. "Act 3:19  Therefore repent and convert so that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Lord, we know You love all humans and paid the price for all our sins, so we ask You to stir the hearts of those who have yet to come to You in faith. Amen

It will be a sad day Lloyd, and that day is getting closer daily. But praise God who is in control, and that Jesus is Our Hope. Our hope is Greater then a wish, or desire, it is assurance, based on the word of God. Jesus is the blessed Hope of all who believe Amen and Amen. Continue to be Blest as we prepare for Resurrection Sunday.

2 Thessalonians 1:9
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might

2 Thessalonians 1: 8-10 The coming day of judgment for both the persecuted and their persecutors. In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed. In today's, "God is love" culture, you don't hear too much about hell. A lot of folks say they believe in heaven and hope they're going there, but don't believe in hell. But I don't believe the eternal fire of hell is what makes it so awful. When Shadrac,  Meshac and Abednigo were in the fiery furnace, they weren't uncomfortable, as a matter of fact, they were dancing around with Jesus, and when the king called them out, there wasn't a hair on their heads singed. The thing that's gonna be so awful about hell is the total and complete seperation from God. Most people that don't have eternal life think that's not such a bad thing, because they think of believers being kill joys, and if we were gone they could be left without a moral compass and they could party like it's 1999. The sad part about that way of thinking is that everything good we see about us is from God. So, even if one wasn't burning forever, there is no beauty there. No beautiful sunrises, no starry nights, no butterflies, no flowers, no love whatsoever. That's like taking the hottest, most barren place you've ever been, fill it chock full of people just like the meanest person you can imagine and spend forever there.  When we think of vengeance, it's not God taking revenge or harming someone in retaliation for something harmful that they have done, it's letting us have free will to choose to accept God's free gift of eternal life and doing things His way, or choosing not to do that, and having God honor your will, removing His hand of blessing and then being at the mercy of the kingdom that hates God and all He stands for including us human beings who He created in His image. No more and no less. When we die, we don't just cease to exist. Everyone's gonna live forever, either: (1) in Heaven, with God because we chose to transfer our trust from living a life of being a "good enough person", to the only one that actually WAS "good enough", Jesus, and His death on the cross as payment for our sins, then raising from the dead to purchase a place for us in Heaven, or (2) in Hell because we trusted in our own good works, rejecting Jesus sacrifice and going to the place God prepared for Satan and all his followers. You either follow God or you follow Satan, period, there's no demilitarized zone. People don't go to hell because their bad, and to heaven because their good. They go to hell because they rejected God's only plan to get them to heaven and end up in hell by default. Not believing in Hell doesn't make it go away any more than not believing in gravity makes it go away. It's one of God's laws and if broken, there are consequences. If you're reading this and are hoping that you're going to heaven, you don't have to hope. You can have a "know so" faith in a "hope so" world. All you hafta do is acknowledge that Heaven is a free gift, that you're a sinner and can't save yourself with any amount of good works, ask God to forgive your sins, then ask Jesus to come into your heart to be your Lord, Saviour and forever friend. When you do that, God hears that prayer and comes into your heart and life and old things pass away, and you literally become a new creature. That's what it means to be "born again". Papa God, You said You desire that none should perish but that ALL should come to eternal life. Please open the eyes and ears of all who are reading this and haven't accepted Your free gift of eternal life, that they'll acknowledge all You've done for them and receive Your free gift and spend forever with You in Heaven, in Jesus name, Amen.

I really don't even like to think about what the unbelievers are facing if they don't get right with God through faith in His Son. We definitely need to pray for our Country and its people, as well as for those in our immediate circle of family, friends and aquaintences. I am in need of prayer for my own self also, that God would give me energy and all else needed for me to follow and serve our Lord Jesus better, so I could win more souls to Him and to be more of a benefit to help encourage, nourish, strengthen and heal His Body to which I belong.

Oh, if only the entire world would realize what they face without a commitment to Jesus Christ. And this verse only barely touches the destiny of those who are not saved by Christ. It reminds me of the experience God gave to Bill Wiese "23 Minutes in Hell'' which can be found through Google.
