Through Ahaziah's visit to Joram, God brought about Ahaziah's downfall. When Ahaziah arrived, he went out with Joram to meet Jehu son of Nimshi, whom the Lord had anointed to destroy the house of Ahab.

God always has the last call, whether downfall or blessing. In this case, Jehoshaphat's line came to an end, since they had gone against the will of the Lord. Lord, help me/us to follow Your principles and ways, that I/we may be pleasing in Your sight. Amen
