Like all the Tribes of Israel we need to follow Israels example and prepare our hearts to seeking the Lord Daily, through scripture and prayer, for we are in very interesting times. Good to be back on line!

Amen to that Peter. I pray the body of Christ will draw ever closer to the Lord in this tumultuous time. Php_2:12  "Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling." We are permitted to gather with 30% of congregation but our pastor has decided to preach via Zoom til first Sunday in July, Hopefully that all will be open and back to normal by then. Hard to choose who the 30% are. Blessings brother Peter. :-)

Thankfully those who chose to follow the true God chose to side with Rehoboam, and strengthen Israel rather than follow the false gods, the idols of Jeroboam. The Lord honors those who choose to follow Him, at that time in Israel, and around the world today.

They packed up and moved where they could worship God. This gave them unity with every tribe being represented in judah. God was working to weed out the unbelievers and untie the true followers of God. It is ironic that Rehoboam fell to the same temptation of his father and his downfall was his many wives. Seems like he would have learned form his father instead he fell into the same trap.
