This is a troubling statement but one that is backed up in the second chapter of Second Thessalonians, saying there will be a great falling away before the return of Christ. "2Thess 2:1-3 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, (2) that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand. (3) Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition," I believe it is wise for the body of Christ (the church) to be in prayer, that the Lord will protect believers against the deception of the enemy, Satan, as he works to deceive. Lord, help me to stand firm in Your truths and not be deceived. Amen

Prayer a great tool to draw us closer to Christ, with out Christ we can do nothing. And because we are in the Last Days, satans greatest weapon is deception, he is the arch deceiver, a mighty foe. And today there is a spiritual deception sweeping through the church, the body of Christ. If we don't pray and studying God's word, we the Church will fall victim to these deceptions. Blessings to you brother, and stand firm in His word. warm weather here with some rain, in the 50:)

1 Timothy 4:1-3 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. Some people think they can be "more spiritual" or "win points with God" by eating or not eating certain foods or sacrificing something for God. Or they think that they can manipulate God and He owes them something. This is making God our"sugar daddy" aka, our servant. This is legalism and is a doctrine of demons that goes all the way back to the garden when Satan in the form of a serpent told them that they could be as gods. God owes us nothing. He provided Himself a lamb, Jesus, to come live a sinless life that we could never live and die a horrible death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, as free gift. If we feel like anything we do is gonna win us extra credit, we're sadly mistaken. Isaiah 64:6 & Romans 3:10 both tell us that our righteousness is as filthy rags. This doesn't mean that we accept the free gift of eternal life and do nothing else. That would be like the wicked servant that hid his talent in the ground, as opposed to the others who invested theirs and got double the return. No, it means that we do good deeds as a result of our gratitude for what we've received. Sometimes we see the results of the good things we do here on earth, and sometimes we never see them till we get to heaven. But earth isn't our home, heaven is, and we need to trust God that He's keeping a perfect record and as we store up treasures in heaven, they won't rust or get moth eaten. Papa God, thank You for showing me how easily I can get off track if I don't stay in Your Word on a regular basis. I give You the leash and bid You to yank it my if I get out of line at all, as You continue to show me how to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, in Jesus name, Amen

Well, today we are seeing this happen. I think of those who are attempting to redefine the gospel, saying that chrislam (the combining of the Christian and Islam faiths) which are radically different and Isalm, in no way relates to the Christian faith. Those who try to combine the two faiths are lead and deceived by demonic spirits, Satan's ploy to destroy the truth of the gospel of Christ. Lord, awaken those who are being tempted by lying spirits and return them to the true gospel, inspired by Yourself. Amen. 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Merry Christmas to all on the Dec. 25th, 2015, Christmas day.

This cannot be more true than of the present time. Within the last hundred years so many "new" religions have sprung up. Heres a motto to live by when it comes to the bible: "If it's new, it's not true, and if it's true, it cannot be new". Revelation also mentions there will be a great "falling away" before the coming of Christ. "Deception" is Satn's best tool. So how do recognize a wolf is sheep's clothing? Always look at it's tracks...
