Job 3:11
"Why did I not perish at birth,
and die as I came from the womb?
and die as I came from the womb?

This verse reminds me of how I used to feel whenever I thought about my own futile efforts to please God and amount to something. What I like most about this now, is the comparison with how I feel now. Now that I know the real truth, now that I know it's not by my own efforts, now that I am completely His. If I allow my imagination to carry my thoughts along a path without thought of God, and His good plan for my life, and His ability to keep me on that path, then I would worry myself until I scared myself with all the imaginary scenarios that might be looming ahead. Then I would be a very foolish woman, indeed.

Glenna B. from Delta, BC said:

I may not understand what God is doing, but I CAN believe that He knows and is working out his plan. Job had no idea what was going on behind the scenes, but we get to see a bit of both sides in this chapter.
