This is how we should look at all jobs/careers we have throughout our lives. In essence, God has "put us in the garden to work and take care of it." He has put us in our place of work to do the job that we are given and to be responsible for that job. We should take great pride in the fact that not only are our bosses entrusting us to do our jobs, but God is also entrusting us to do our jobs. We should never take our jobs for granted, because there are plenty of people who would probably like a job, but can't get one for one reason or another. Anyone who has a job should consider themselves blessed that they have a job that is paying the bills and that they are able to contribute to society. No matter what your profession, you are helping someone. Plumbers help people to keep the water running smoothly from the faucet and down the drain. Accountants help people get their tax returns back and help people keep track of their money. Waitresses provide food so you don't have to get it yourself. Taxi drivers help those without a car to get from point A to point B. Every job helps someone in one way or another. Always remember that when you feel like complaining, and refer yourself to this verse.
