This is a very rich chapter. It was hard to choose one verse. The things God has prepared for those who love Him are indeed beyond human comprehension! Remember, though, that because God is good, what He does and prepares for us is ALWAYS good - even when it doesn't seem like it. Lord, give us eyes to see Your goodness in every day, very moment.

Yes ,here is an example ,there are two little girls here who have been missing for two weeks and I pray for them and their families everyday.It's hard to see any good in this but I have been praying that God will show these families the jewel He has hidden in the darkness. Please pray for Elizabeth and Lyric.

I agree, Sandy. He has an awesome future for us if we love and obey Him. Lord, I lift up before You these two little girls, Elizabeth and Lyric, that Lori has told us about. I ask in Jesus' name, that You would bring these precious little girls back to their family safe and sound. I ask that as they are missing put Your mighty hand of protection upon them and show their parents a miracle. Amen. PS: this brings to mind the film my wife and myself went to see this evening, entitled "WAR ROOM". It demonstrates the power of prayer. If you haven't seen it, don't miss any chance you have to see it. God bless you all.

Unfortunately Lloyd these girls were found dead 5 months later, it was heart breaking for the whole community. Thank you for your prayers. There is good in this, there have been many benefits and fund raising for missing and exploited children. The families are still healing .What they need now is our prayers for their continued healing and for the killer or killers to be caught and brought to justice so the families can have the closure they need to move on.

Thanks Lori.. Obviously I didn't check the date on the post. It's hard to imagine how anyone could be so evil as to kill children. However, their day of judgement will come, even if they get away with it here.

This is one of my favorite verses! When I am feeling down about myself or just feeling weak, this verse gives me hope and encourages me. It's hard to choose just one verse to comment on.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

We have been studying I Timothy in church and have been learning about looking out for false teachers. This verse reminded me of that. Know the truth so well that you will have no problem identifying the counterfeit!

I have several physical and mental limitations that limit what I am able to do from day to day. Therefore, whatever I do accomplish in an excellent way, I have to give the glory to God for what I have done daily. As I think about this, I must thank God for my limitations because then I recognize His work in my life daily.
