We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

with the false teacher in our mist know the Word of God, study and meditate on it everyday so that we do not drift away. Paying attention is hard work. We must focus our minds, bodies and senses by listening to Christ on a daily basis and then doing what he says.
