Titus 1:8
Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.

I believe that I chose this verse out of the others mostly because it's what I'm striving to do. I have been a Christian for a long time. I can tell you a lot. I haven't read all the way thru the bible but I have read most. I can tell you scripture and so forth. But I am still lacking. I lack hospitality, I love what is good but I still find evil. I have ok self-control. I don't believe I am upright or holy. And, I seriously lack discipline. That's why I chose this verse. I need it.

Trying to determine which of the versus I would consider my favorite definitely difficult today. Titus 1 is filled with so many important lessons regarding character and how present ourselves to only to God but to one another.
Having said that, I chose Titus 1:8 because it speaks of love, self-control, discipline, which are vital characteristics in all that we do in all areas of our live. Whether in home, the work-place, or in church, we must always remember how to present ourselves as Christians to others.
