Romans 9:33
As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall,
and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame."
and a rock that makes them fall,
and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame."

Christ is what sets Christianity apart from all other religions. He told us that he is the way, the truth and the life, that no one will come to the Father apart from him. Man doesn't want to hear that. They want to make their own rules and come to God on their terms, much like Cain did with his offering. God gets to make the rules, and we have to approach him on his terms. This is what trips up so many.

We are some who will never be put to shame if we put our trust in god.

We must not just worship and follow Jesus when we are by ourselves, but, we must care enough to look "foolish" when we are around strangers and friends. Jesus must be the reason and not our friends acceptance to be Christians

I love this verse because no matter who you are and where you've been, when you choose Christ you become an heir to the kingdom of God. You are restored and redeemed. 'Those who believe in Him will never be put to shame." What a beautiful promise!

I believe it is not God's desire than any should perish. (Matt. 18:14) But He gives everyone the choice to believe in Jesus Christ, His son and be saved, or, reject Him and perish. I do not believe that God preselects those who will be saved and those who will perish but He knew before creation who would and would not believe. It sickens me to see those who have chosen false gods or no god and will perish in the fires of hell for eternity, but they have the choice as well.
