Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works;( Ephesian 2: 8-9 For it is by Grace you (we) have been Saved, through Faith -and this is not from yourselves, it is a Gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast) if it were, grace would no longer be grace. Grace comes as a Free Gift from God. Believers through Grace are chosen. They are saved Acts 15:11 No! We Believe it is through the Grace of Our Lord that we are saved, just as they are.

We can not enter Heaven through our good works. It is through our belief in our Lord Jesus Christ. God loves us unconditionaly.

There seems to be alot of verses about grace and faith recently. I think God is driving home a point to us. Jesus died to pay for our forgiveness,God doesn't need our works. It is a priveledge to be obedient to Him. He has commanded us to be about his work. Ephesians 2:10 " For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Jesus,Thank you for paying our debt in full.

It is not by works that salvation is attained, there's no magic ritual, or processes that we have to go through in order to have our name inscribed in the Book of Life. We have a tendency to over think and complicate everything, always looking over the fence to see what color is the grass on the other side, or we think that we can "help" God with our actions. Grace is a gift, it is redemption. Grace comes from the One who can give it, and we accept it or reject it. Thank God, and praise for His "amazing grace that saved a wretch like me, i once was lost but now i'm found, was blind but now i see".

And so it is! Works will never be enough to save us. Works enhance our lives by what we give back and bring others to Christ by our Godly lives but they could never save us. If so we would still be under the law and no one could experience Heaven. Thank you God for the sacrifice of your son for our sins!
