Numbers 28:2
"Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'Make sure that you present to me at the appointed time my food offerings, as an aroma pleasing to me.'

Again this is a difficult chapter just to pick a verse since it deals with the rituals of daily sacrifice. But we can say this chapter can be labeled "Worship." WE know that each of these offerings/ sacrifice had a purpose to fulfill, and that ultimate purpose/goal was to please the Lord and to delight His Heart.

Extremely well expressed, Peter. And yes, it was a form of worshiping the Lord. Today, we are commanded to honor Him by believing and following the example He provided for us through Christ. Mat 22:37  Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Blessings once again to you Peter, as we follow and commune with Him. :-)

Thank God that Jesus was offered as a sacrifice for our sins and that it took the place of the animal sacrifices that the Israelites needed to perform in order to be cleansed of their sins!

This chapter repeats the required offerings and special holidays as a reminder to the younger generation who were about to enter the Promised Land. This is a reminder to us that we need to be diligent to share our faith and teach our children the reason for our hope. "Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them." (Deuteronomy 4:9)
