How many of you have ever heard of Shaphat,
Sethur, Nahbi, Geuel, Igal, Palti, Gaddiel or Ammiel? Yeah, I didn't think so. How about Joshua or Caleb? See, those first guys I mentioned were the guys that brought back the evil report mentioned in the passge above. Joshua and Caleb were the ones that said, "sure the giants are big, but our God is bigger.
But, the rest of the Israelites listened to the evil report, and they ended up wandering around in the desert for 40 years because of their doubt and unbelief as a result of their fear.
How many of us have wandered around in the wilderness because we were too afraid to move toward a promise God gave us. How many of us look at our giant problems rather than our even bigger giant God, who created the universe, yet calls us His friend.
This doubt and unbelief that comes from fear can cause us not only to NOT do what God told us to do, but it also causes us to disobey Him and do things in our own strength, because we think He's not going to give us our desires. Look at Abraham. He got impatient waiting on God's promise and ended up with Ishmael, and the world is still reeling from that.
Oh, I've spent many years in the wilderness because was unwilling to wait on God, stepped outside of His economy and ended up with an Ishmael. I also lived in the wilderness because I was to afraid to move forward because at least my misery was familiar.
Oh Papa God, forgive me for not walking in lock step with You. When I get even one inch out of line, please yank my leash and get me back in line. No matter how much it hurts, now, I know that You began a good work in me and will complete it.

They went to explore and discovered that everyone doesn't believe or have faith and they felt that people was at great size. Meaning that may had been afraid, god already had shown them what he can do through Moses but yet they was still doubt. In to day world we have different enemies like racism. .hated and yet they're still doubt in eyes of many because of being afraid and not paying for god fight this battle for us. . Things may appear differently but the enemie is still the same satan, but promise remain the same and we must lean on his promise. Thanks lord for protecting me wherever I go,because of your words I can live.
