I'm really starting to closely observe the people I call friends and as I hold myself to a higher standard, I'm watch how they live their lives. Does a person have to be perfect to be called a brother, sister, or friend by me? No, but I am asking for accountability and living life with a purpose. There is a lot of work to be done and I personally need to align myself with individuals who are about the Kingdom and about our Father's business.

To me this means we are all one family in Christ. Everyone who proclaims Jesus and obeys the Father is a part of one family no matter how near or far.

A poignant response to v 47 (your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you). We aren't just blood relatives in the earthly sense, rather we are blood relative in Jesus' blood, his saving blood.

If we really want to be a brother or a sister of Jesus, we have to follow the will of theFather for us. It is following God's will which is hard because oftentimes, we want to follow our own will. God wants only the best for us and therefore we have to follow His will if we want to be His child. Lord help me to submit my will to you every day.
