With you on that one Deborah. That's at least half a dozen Scripture verses they've chosen to eliminate over these past several chapters. I totally agree and find the NIV a rather poor choice of Bibles, even though in my early days I used it until I discovered that they had left out numerous verses. God bless.

Because it was missing here, I had to find what verse 28 said. The KJV says here: "And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors." That continues to edify my awareness that God will keep His word. Jesus Himself says in Matt 3:15 "..suffer it to be so NOW: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness." [emphasis mine] If He says it, He will make it happen! Praise God, He is one you can count on to keep His word!
