This verse brings back memories of the all night prayers that my grandma took me to at church. They had what they called an unction. They said they felt a burden to pray. Their example was the Lord Jesus himself. It was spiritual warfare. There is victory in prayer.One of the reasons I'm probably writing this is grandma prayed, the church prayed all night. Now I know I'm saved and Jesus is interceding for me. How awesome is that?

And that's what gets people saved, Kenneth. I know that's what brought me to Christ, was a co-worker who planted the seed and then prayed for my salvation. Amazing how his prayers brought me to a place of receiving Christ. And that friend is now an ordained minister of the gospel, ordained less than a year ago at age 69, and is pastor of a local church.
