Luke 21:36
Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."

I believe this verse reminds me of the coming Judgments, be watchful and praying for those prophecy fulfillment for our own taking away to heaven. Be watchful, be in prayer and most important be in His word. Look for Jesus, and look for our Blessed Hope.

Can't express truth any better than that, Peter. Be encouraged and strengthened by the truth of His word, my brother in Christ.

We do not know the day or time Jesus will return, but He will return. We are to be ready for His return at any time. Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow may never come.

I believe we must always be on guard and prepare ourselves for persecution, Many times Christians believe and often are taught that they will be raptured before the tribulation. Personally I believe that is a false belief and teaching, a deception of the enemy. If you check Revelation 13:7 you will see that the anti-christ, referred to here, is given to make war against the saints. How can he make war against those who are not here. Also 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 reveals the same thing, that Christ will not return before the man of sin, (anti-christ) is revealed. We must be on guard that we are not lax, as pre-tribulation belief tends to make believers. I won't have to worry because I 'll be gone. Dangerous belief. I personally believe that will be the root cause of the great falling away. Those are my thoughts. We need to be prepared and this is one where I'd be happy to be wrong. Blessings.
