Again a difficult Chapter to pick a verse on vows. Vows are hard to keep sometimes as we see the cost in this chapter, that the Israelites had to pay to be released from their vow. You might call it a , a maintenance fee for the Temple.

Reading this just reminds me over and over how wonderful and loving our Lord is. He sets a value to things but then account for the poor and helps them be able to afford to make a vow to the lord

These commandments gave people a sense of action. It made it impossible to make empty promises to God. He calls us into action to have a purpose behind our vows to him. These commandments also allowed room for everyone, which further demonstrates Gods desire to use and include us all.

This reminds me of 2 wonderful verses that pertain to list of ordinances.... **What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) & so refreshing~ ***Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Colossians 2:14) Praise be to the Lord who is made Perfect through obediance, even to The Cross!... All thanks be to the One who loved us enough to Purchase us with His Life being Sacraficed to make The Only Way for a person to again be, and have a relationship with Almighty God!.... Jesus!
