Leviticus 26:7
You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.

This jumped out at me, because I think we think that if we obey God we will not have enemies, but this clearly points out that we will and do still have enemies but God's protection is with us. This place is not our home, we look forward to a new heaven and a new earth. Hallelujah!

Cathy, I was watching this morning a video of Rabbi Jonathan Cahn as he told the story of the Maccabees and how they decided they would follow God with all their hearts and would not bow to their enemies, even if they died. They ran to the mountains and when their enemies attacked, they were able to defeat them by God's power and provision. Then the next attack they used their enemy's own swords, that they had killed to defeat them again and again.

I will pursue my enemies in Prayer, and they will be delt with by God. He will be the judge and jury, not I.
