Leviticus 26:30
I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars and pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols, and I will abhor you.

Also, as I was re-reading this chapter it brought to mind that God has always said He wants His people to follow Him. He wants us to have no other "gods" before Him. Anything that is put before God is something we worship. Modern day idols can be anything we put before our Father. If we put TV programs before Him or any number of our modern day enticements, if it is put before God and we spend our time with that particular thing and not with God then it is our idol. God speaks very clearly here as well as in the New Testament that we are to love the Lord God and only Him do we serve. It is something that is good for everyone of us to remember. It is a very personal passage of admonition to us to be watchful because we know how easy it is to fall into "being lazy" and not being watchful of our souls.
