The priest is to splash the blood against the altar of the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

How much blood was splashed on the altar over the years? The blood of bulls and goats couldn't take sin away. It only covered it until the blood of the Lamb of God would finally take sin away for good. "Because by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy." (Hebrews 10:14)
