I love the line in this verse "Ha not the Lord gone ahead of you?" The Lord is always ahead of us. He was ahead of us when we first sinned, and throughout the old testament, the symbolism of the coming of Jesus is becoming more and more apparent to me as I read. God is always ahead and always in control. He is sovereign and knows and does things before we ask and know. It blows my mind more and more.
