had lived an abundant life, blessed by God, God allowed Satan to torture Job knowing than Job would not turn away from him. In his despair he makes this statement and I wonder how many have felt the same in their lifetimes. I know I have had similar thoughts. Our lives here on earth from an earthly perspective is oh so different than that of one walking with Jesus. Knowing that once our lives are over here on earth we have a home in Heaven compared to the thought of going into a nothingness or whatever they think happens to them after death. In the following verses that is what Job thought was awaiting him. Thank you Lord that my hope is in you and an eternal life with you after leaving this world!!
