Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."

Think about this scripture for a moment. I think we tend to overlook this one, how often do we say or even think if it's the Lord's will? Don't we just go about our day and say I am going here or I am going there or I am moving to a new home? How often do you ask the Lord His thoughts on what you should do,how often do you include Him in even the smallest of your plans? I think we should think about that and start including God in on everything. He cares about all we do.

So true, Lori. I have known more than one person who were for some reason delayed from being where we wanted to be at a certain time. Later they found out that there was a calamity or accident which could very well have put them smack in the middle of it. It is amazing how the Lord looks out for us, even when we are disturbed by the delay or change..

Some days God's will seems to elude me. This is a great verse to remind me to ask God daily what His will for me is.
