The true Christian Religion has been destorted by the creation of denominations and sects. Very clearly the Word of God defines true acceptable religion; "to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world". You may be a faithfull member of a "religios denomination or sect" but that does not make you religious. In God's eyes true religious people are those who consider the orphans and the needy, and persevere to obtain and retain righteousness and holiness in their heart attitude and expressed character.

Amen to that Noemi. Denominations and religious sects are man generated. The prayer of my wife and myself has been for a long time, that God would unite the church (born again believers) regardless of affiliation to work together to promote Christ. An excellent book I have read, by John Kingsley Alley, "The Apostolic Revelation" was so good to describe what needs to take place. I read it twice back to back and intend to read it again. God bless.
