Clearly this is God speaking to Jacob/ Israel to seek refuge in him, and to make peace with him, to repent of their sin and to seek reconciliation. Thank you Father that I (we) can seek refuge in you for sinful life, thank you for your Mercy and Grace through the shed Blood of your Son Jesus for my (our) sin Amen.

AMEN. What a blessing He has given us through Jesus Christ His son, that as we have confessed and repented of our sins, He has washed us clean through Christ's blood. 1Jn 1:9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Be blessed, my brother in Christ.

Or else let them come to Me for refuge; let them make peace with Me, yes, let them make peace with Me." (Isaiah 27:5) God is calling for people right now to come to Him, make it right with Him, for the time is getting shorter and shorter, and now is the time to make your peace with Him! Isaiah 27:13 says; And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem. The trumpet will sound and Jesus will be coming back soon and we will be singing "We Shall See The King" to the King Himself! Hallelujah! What a day this will be Jesus, when we can see Your face and sing our praises to You with You right here with us! Amen! Praise You Lord Jesus!!

Welcome Janet. Great to have another Canadian aboard the Scripture Journal. I have a step-son in Calgary and is often in Edmonton with work and has friends there too. Your statement is so true, if we will seek Him, He is easily found and willing to forgive. BrIngs to mind 1John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We make peace with God when we confess our sins, repent of our evil ways, and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and place Him on the throne of our heart. We found refuge in God when we chose to follow the narrow path that passed through the narrow gate of righteousness and turned from the wide pathway of the world.
