another Difficult Chapter: Key words for me is "The Lord said", obey what the Lord tells you and see what the out come is.

Yes, Peter, I too found it a difficult chapter. What I understand is that he removed his outer mourner's garment and sandals as a warning of what was to come, and not to trust Egypt.

This show how the Lord God is with you though what seem to be the worst of trials and verse four shows they can be used by God for His purposes if we are obedient.
