another Difficult Chapter: Key words for me is "The Lord said", obey what the Lord tells you and see what the out come is.

Yes, Peter, I too found it a difficult chapter. What I understand is that he removed his outer mourner's garment and sandals as a warning of what was to come, and not to trust Egypt.
