This verse means that everyday by His Grace I get another chance to do it right! My past is my past and I start a fresh page everyday to be a better person and to live as he did.

It's amazing that if for some reason you "just don't get it". The bible simply reemphasizes this fact over and over and over again... He did for us because he loves us; and he loved us so we can be perfect through him and one day live with him forever and ever. Amen.

So true Bruno, as I commented regarding previous verses, that Jesus covered even those who followed the old covenant commands (rituals) were also covered by the blood, even if they had passed on but had followed the first covenant. What an awesome God we have.

One would have to be so blind as not to understand the basics of the Bible, or just not read it at all.

What you just discribed Lloyd is probably the smoothest transitition in the world, from old to new. And Don, you're correct, many people are blind. Many religions are reading what they want it to say, rather then letting the bible say what it has to say.
