Hebrews 2:9
But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
What a price the creator and God of all creation paid for me, through His death on the cross, yet, He rose again on the third day. Lord, help me always to honor You, as I walk this earthly life, that I not miss the glory You have for me (us) in that eternal paradise. Amen

Jesus was made lower than the angels for a little while, now he is our Lord and Savior crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death for our sins, so that by the grace of God we should not perish and have everlasting life as long as we believe in him.

Jesus was made human to walk with mankind for a time and then to die on the cross so that we could be washed of our sin. Jesus is now higher than the angles and is glorified and honored through the cross.

To me it means that I need to always remember what Jesus suffered for me! That the King of Kings was made low so thst I may see. Because sometimes we (I) can be so in this world that the God in everything can get misplaced or lost. So as this chapter begins I pray that I pay very close attention and don't miss HIM!

And by the grace of God, through faith in the finished work of Jesus, we, who were made lower than the angels, have been given new life in Jesus, and we shall also one day be raised to live eternally with Him in glory. "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and His righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus name. On Christ the solid rock I stand." Hallelujah!!!
