Genesis 5:24
Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Difficult Chapter but the Genealogy of Adam to Noah. Early humans lived a long time, and had many children, and all died because of sin. With the exception of Enoch, he was commended for walking with God, who was taken away before his physical death. So no matter how long a person lives, Sin results in Death.

So true, Peter. Makes me wonder what kind of diet they lived on. Surely better nutritionally than we live on today, and yet, it was the Lord who shortened our lives, and I guess a good thing, or we'd be standing shoulder to shoulder covering the entire earth by now. But Noah found favor and spared him to restart humanity. You're right on this being a difficult chapter, Peter. Going to be interesting from here on out. I did watch a Sid Roth special tonight with 4 quests and it was surely interesting with the ministry of his guests. I'll post the link when I can find it. Be blessed my Christian brother, and we'll see what He's going to do but I believe there is about to be a revival like we've never seen or even imagined. :-)

Enoch's life is an example for how I should live my life, as well. He denounced sin and warned people of the coming judgment. He stood firm for the Lord.

Enoch walked faithfuly with God, but it does not say that he died instead, The Lord took him away. How amazing would it be to be taken away by Our Father in heaven :)
