Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Difficult Chapter but the Genealogy of Adam to Noah. Early humans lived a long time, and had many children, and all died because of sin. With the exception of Enoch, he was commended for walking with God, who was taken away before his physical death. So no matter how long a person lives, Sin results in Death.

Enoch's life is an example for how I should live my life, as well. He denounced sin and warned people of the coming judgment. He stood firm for the Lord.

Enoch walked faithfuly with God, but it does not say that he died instead, The Lord took him away. How amazing would it be to be taken away by Our Father in heaven :)
