Jacob grieved for years over the loss of his son, Joseph. But God had a different plan. He travelled tot he land of Goshen where his son met him. Joseph would be there to close his father's eyes for the last time. God is faithful...even when things seem hopeless!

No matter where we go, as long as God is with us we have everything. As Moses once said, If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here (Exodus 33:15). If God is not there with us, even if it's heaven, it's not worth going. Let us not seek salvation alone but let us seek Christ the author of life and salvation.
