This verse stood out to me because it is the complete opposite of how I used to think of when a day begins and ends. This verse clearly indicates that a day begins in the evening and is later followed by morning. I believe this is reinforced in other areas of the Bible when the idea of resting in preparation for doing God's work is repeatedly mentioned.
