Exodus 36:8
All those who were skilled among the workers made the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim woven into them by expert hands.

Making cloth (spinning and weaving) took a great deal of time in Modes' day. To own more than two or three changes of clothes was sign of wealth. The effort involved in makding enough cloth for the tabernacle was staggering. The tabernacle would never have been built without termondous community involvement. Today, churches and neighborhoods often requere this same kind of pulling together. Weithout it, many essesntial services wouldn't get done.

There must have been great joy among the workers--knowing they were building the tabernacle with the beautiful twisted linen! The love for Jesus must have been overflowing in the hearts!
