To think you could be blotted out of the God's book. The very thought makes me so very sad. Thank you God for the gift of your son that we can come to you for forgiveness and not be blotted out.

Amen, Patty, and it is sad to think that some will be blotted out of the book of life because they forsook the Lord's salvation. God bless.

It is amazing how God is so consistent, in that Jesus told about the book of life and whoever did not have their name written in that book would be cast into the fires of hell. Obviously, by this statement, that book has been in existence since the very beginning, and it has to do with obedience to God's laws. Since Christ, it is that we receive and follow Jesus Christ an before it was that people follow God's commands. Thank You, Lord, for Your patience and grace with us as humans. Help me, Lord, to be a God Chaser such as Tommy Tenney portrayed in his book of that title. Amen

This is a stark reminder of just what our sins make God feel like. In God's eyes telling that little white lie is just as bad as murder or idolatry. We need to remember to thank God every day that He sent His son to die for us so that we aren't blotted out of the book, but instead we can ask for forgiveness and repent of our actions and He will cast our sins as far as the east is from the west and remember them no more.

God will stand for sinful people, they must believe, follow, and have faith in God. All people will have to stand before theLord and answer for their wrong doing.

This is a dire warning to all who sin because they sin against God. All sin! And all sin is against God. We are to be blotted out of the book. How extremely wonderful it is to know that there is the Lamb's Book of Life. Those blessed enough to be written in that book will never be blotted out and their punishment has been paid for by Christ. Choose you this day ... life or death!
