The mercy of the Lord is inexhaustible. However, there should be people like Moses who will plead to the Lord for mercy for the sins of humanity who have turned to other gods. I have to pray for God's mercy in my own small way to avert potential disasters to happen to us due to our great sins.

So true. Moses' provide a great example of the importance of intercession, the willingness to stand in the gap on behalf of others yields great blessing, healing, and releases God's mercy upon us all!
