This special oil was used to anoint the tent of meeting, the altar, and the articles inside the tent and for anointing Aaron and the priests who will serve before the LORD. It is a fragrant, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. Today, what is a fragrant that is pleasing to the LORD. The LORD does not desire meaningless burnt offerings and offering of incense from disobedient, rebellious, and wicked people as mentioned in Isaiah 1. The fragrant that truly pleases Him is the aroma of Jesus, his son. Cloth yourselves in Jesus and you will emit the fragrant that God the Father will enjoy.
