Colossians 2:15
And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Colossians 2: 9, 10, 15 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Proverbs 25:2 tells us It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
When Jesus was nailed to the cross, there must've been a HUGE party in hell, because Satan thought he'd FINALLY won the battle. I can literally hear the needle scratching across the record as Jesus burst out of the grave, and Satan realized he'd played himself right into God's hand, and was ultimately defeated.
God hides truth in His Word, because He wants us to seek it out, but only thru His revelation knowledge can it be made real to us in our lives. Since Satan and any and all of his followers have no revelation knowledge of God's Word, they hafta guess at it.
The only power Satan and his demonic kingdom have over the believer is what we give him. We give him that power when we listen to his lies rather than bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We have the full armor of God, and it's our choice as to whether or not we choose to use it.
Satan ALWAYS wants to keep our battle on the physical, because at that level, we lose EVERY time. Satan knows his end, it's clearly defined in the book of Revelation, he and all his followers end up in the lake of fire.
Just like when Jesus came the 1st time, and Satan was deceived and played into God's plan, the same will happen when Jesus comes the 2nd time. That's why no one knows the day or hour. We hafta keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and always remember, we've read the last chapter and Jesus wins!
Our choice is whether or not we're gonna choose the winning team. There are times that it looks like Satan is TOTALLY winning, but remember the cross. It TOTALLY looked that way then, and we can trust God to work ALL things together for our good because we love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Thank You, Papa God for revealing Yourself to us. Please keep us hungering and thirsting for more and more of You, in Jesus name, Amen

First vs 9: "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form..." and then, He disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them. What a beautiful and grand picture. Although it should have seemed obvious by now that Jesus is God, somehow I continue to diminish His fullness.... even as I scoff at the apostles for not recognizing it sometimes. He IS ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE DEITY. Full God. Eloihim. Creator. All powerful. Sacred Breath. Lived for me, Lives in me, Longs and loves for me. And made a public spectacle of the enemy, defeating and shaming him. May He reign in me to defeat and shame the enemy in my life at every turn. Fill me my Lord.

I love the word disarm. He deprives the means of attack or defense or to deprive of a weapon or weapons.
