This verse means to me that every human being on earth alive and dead will be judge from our God and Jesus Christ of their acts and conviction in serving God the way the bible teaches you to serve him ( with all your heart, thoughts and love for you and others) and to take the word of God and Jesus Christ to others for their salvation.
