Verses 10-16 focus on the descendants of Solomon. In verse 17 it mentions Jehoiachin was captive. This was during the time in Babylon.

Well I found the answer to my question in my comment on 2 king 25 and the geneology in Matt 1: 11- 12 says: And Josiah begat Jeconiah and his brothers, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: Jehoiachin and Jeconiah are 1 in the same! Phew glad that cleared that up!
