They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord. They were to do the same in the evening

As a believer I'm a royal priesthood and I think it's a real good idea to thank and praise the Lord every morning and evening. As a matter of fact I'm commanded in the new covenant to give thanks in ALL things. Lord remind me to be ever grateful bcuz You are good always, all ways. Forgive me for not being thankful when things seem to be going Ooooh so wrong cuz You make ALL things work together for my good AND for the rest of this world You created sooooooo magnificently. It isn't all about just me and Your plan for me, You could just be using me to work all things together for the good of some one around me...what a concept! How You sooooooo intricately weave the lives of each of us and cause our days to go so perfectly that divine appointments happen and it's not about any single one of us but about You and Your glory and we all either get to participate or hafta participate. Papa God I renounce that stinkin "hafta" thinkin and may I always embrace at it as "get to" thinkin.

1 Chronicles 23:30 - So many times when Christians are talking to unbelievers they comment that they have a relationship not a religion as if religion was a bad word. The bible uses the word religion at least 5 times in the New Testament. The most pointed in (James 1:26-27) “Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves and their religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” i look at this way, we have a religion and ministries that relates to people but better still we have a relationship and ministries that relate exclusively to God our Father and Creator.

I always say that you can't have a bd day if you give it to the one who gave it to you in the first place. Sure there will be trouble Matt. 6:34, Jn. 16:33 but don't worry and be cheerful in the instruction of Jesus.

At the time I am reading this chapter it is the day after Thanksgiving. This verse is a reminder that we should thank and praise the Lord, every day. When upon life's billows you are tem-pest-tossed, When you are discouraged thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings - name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord has done; Count your blessings - name them one by one; Count your many blessings - see what God has done; Count your blessings - name them one by one; Count your many blessings - see what God has done. Are you ever burdened with a load of care? Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear? Count your many blessing - every doubt will fly, And you will be singing as the days go by, Count your blessings - name them one by one; Count your blessings - see what God has done; Count your blessings - name them one by one; Count your many blessings - see what God has done.
