1 Chronicles 22:19
Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the Lord God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the Lord."

This chapter shows that David humbled himself before the Lord, and did not act out of pride and proclaim that he should build the new Temple of the Lord. He humbly passed the task on to his son Solomon, as the Lord had instructed. David always set a good example for us, as believers in Christ, to be humble before the Lord our God.

I like this verse cause it states devote your life to the Lord. We should all strive to devote our life to the Lord and do his will each and every day of our lives. What is in our heart thats the way we live our lives.

Is this not what the Lord requires of us to our benefit. "Lord prepare me, to be a sanctuary, " as the modern hymn expresses, so that the presence of Almighty God (the ark) may be with us (we the temple of the Holy Sprit) 1 Thess. 5:23 may the God of peace sanctify you wholly that your spirit soul and body be peserved blameless at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have this treasure in earthen vessels and need to be ever mindful of the priviledge that it is.

"Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy, tired and true. With thanksgiving, I’ll be a living Sanctuary for you." Wow, i have not heard that beautiful song in a long time.

1 Chronicles 22:19 - Solomon and his people have a mighty task set before them. What is the number one thing all of us are called to do………Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things will be added unto us. What is the number one thing the Lord wants from us?........Not our money, not our service, God wants us. He wants a deep devote relationship with us. Good relationships take work getting to know the one you love. Seek first God, get to know intimately………. His mind, will and emotions. We must know God first so that we can hear from Him and know what, when and how He wants us to serve Him. We must be careful that we don’t get so busy serving Him that we neglect to keep seeking Him. Seeking God should always be kept number one priority in our lives. GOD IS LOVE! If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love. I am only a bunch of annoying noise.
